The Endocrine Surgery Clinical Fellowship is a one-year clinical fellowship with built in time for research; it is an integral component of our program. Our fellows, working closely with the UCSF surgical residents and medical students, help us provide the highest level of care for our patients. Fellows graduate the program with an excellent experience in the intricacies of endocrine surgery for thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal diseases. Given the significant complexities of our patients, the fellows are well versed in redo operations, a wide array of adrenal resections, novel minimally invasive techniques, open surgery, and complex head and neck dissections. Our fellows have ample exposure to office ultrasound, FNA, and laryngoscopy, as well as medical management and cutting-edge diagnostic tools. Many of our former fellows are now leading endocrine surgeons in the United States and around the world.
